I did not discover the whole property but Eric and Pierre were great. Eric's mom checked me in and walked me to the local restaurant in the evening. My only regret I didn't get to say goodbye to Eric's mom. I will surely be back again.

Terletak di desa Bourron-Marlotte, château abad ke-17 ini terletak di atas sebuah benteng kuno dan dikelilingi oleh taman seluas 42 hektar. Amazing place to stay and to explore. Perfectly maintained and everything was flawless. Stay there and you will have a great experience. People are extremely nice and place is magic.

Château De Villiers-Le-Mahieu has been converted into a hotel and all-inclusive rates with free access to a swimming pool, 2 tennis courts and a spa. It is located in Villiers-Le-Mahieu. The food was plentiful and amazing quality. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon drink with cake, aperitif with lovely snacks and dinner. All buffet self service and the best I have encountered on holiday. Baked Alaska! desserts to die for. Mains included monk fish steak, beefsteak, swordfish steak, trout, lamb, salmon, chicken with sauce the list goes on. Starters included fresh prawns in shell and langoustine. Fine local wines Prosecco and beer on tap. Indoor and outdoor pool lots of outdoor and indoor activities including games rooms karaoke room. Boating was fun and the driving range. The chateau itself was beautiful with a moat and the grounds and woodland walks impressive
