With antique-style furniture, each room is fitted with a private bathroom. The house is large and beautiful. I did not discover the whole property but Eric and Pierre were great. Eric's mom checked me in and walked me to the local restaurant in the evening. My only regret I didn't get to say goodbye to Eric's mom. I will surely be back again.

The 98 rooms at the Château De Villiers-Le-Mahieu have flat-screen TVs and each room offers a view of the property and the park. Some rooms are in the main property building and others are in annexe buildings. The food was plentiful and amazing quality. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon drink with cake, aperitif with lovely snacks and dinner. All buffet self service and the best I have encountered on holiday. Baked Alaska! desserts to die for. Mains included monk fish steak, beefsteak, swordfish steak, trout, lamb, salmon, chicken with sauce the list goes on. Starters included fresh prawns in shell and langoustine. Fine local wines Prosecco and beer on tap. Indoor and outdoor pool lots of outdoor and indoor activities including games rooms karaoke room. Boating was fun and the driving range. The chateau itself was beautiful with a moat and the grounds and woodland walks impressive
