I had a personal guide in Armando! He picked me up at the bus-stop which I highly appreciated-it was late night when I arrived, dark and I had no idea where to go. No mobil reception. You know, a countryside. He showed me around, tought me about his culture - very interesting, took me to the typical Bribri village to get the feeling of Bribri life and their habits and was always pation with my question. I did enjoy the stay very much. His mam served me typical breakfast and dinner of the best home-quality for a good value. I also had enough time to relax privately in the comfort of quiet area nearby the National park La Amistad, to meditate or just to read a book. So peaceful.
I´ll definitely come back again and stay longer.

But if your looking for location, character, beauty, great service, something different, peace and quiet, wildlife, charming owners, then this could well be for you. Owner a real character and does everything he can to look after you. Breakfast, and restaurant was good.

You feel home from first moment, the Villas are very well equipped with all you need and spacious. Very clean and comfortable. The owner was very kind, pleasant and friendly. Next to 2 big supermarkets. Quiet and peaceful.
We love love loveddd it here. It was out of the city centre and within nature. The accommodation itself was good - our room was big enough for two people but most of the time we hung out by the pool. It was quiet & peaceful. Our hosts gave us a small breakfast everyday and it was perfect. We had a car so easy to buzz around - the beach was close and a nice little drive/run. Would highly recommend staying here as we would love to stay here again one day.

Huge thank you to Gianluca and Mia for making us feel so welcome at their place. The accommodation is simple & cute, we felt very comfortable and at home here. There is a stunning beach 2 minutes walk away and our whole stay was very peaceful and easy - just what we were looking for. we will be back for sure and recommend this to anybody looking for a cosy, quiet escape. The bungalow was beautiful and spacious. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the property is located on the quieter end of town which is perfect for a relaxing and peaceful stay, all the while in close proximity to everything you need. Staff gave us good recommendations for where to eat and what sights were a must see!
this place gives a sense of boutique luxury - with gorgeous rooms, lovely helpful hosts, a quiet location off the Main Street surrounded by greenery, lovely pools, close proximity to the beach and restaurants, and wonderful breakfasts - thoroughly recommended!
Popone farm is set in a beautiful location in the countryside - quiet and peaceful. The cabin we started in was beautiful, very comfy, and had a lovely warm shower. The family were excellent hosts - very welcoming and friendly.
