The entire experience was great. Lovely building, perfectly preserved, yet modernized to today’s standards. Tranquil village in a rural location yet a short scenic drive away from many beautiful attractions: medieval Gruyère, Maison Cailler, La Maison du Gruyère and Gorges de la Jognes. Annie greeted us with a warm welcome and went above and beyond to make sure we are having a comfortable enjoyable stay. She really made us feel we’re her house guests. The Château d'Ouchy is a renovated medieval castle with an original donjon (keep) in a scenic location in Lausanne, directly on the shores of Lake Geneva. Everything! Room was cozy and comfortable, staff were friendly, location is convenient, Breakfast was very tasty and variety of food.

Wonderful views of Lake Geneva from the terrace, good value on-site restaurant, satisfying buffet breakfast. Showers were hot, room in the annex was airy.
