Situated in Lucens, 30 km from Lausanne Railway Station, La Ferme du Château features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. The entire experience was great. Lovely building, perfectly preserved, yet modernized to today’s standards. Tranquil village in a rural location yet a short scenic drive away from many beautiful attractions: medieval Gruyère, Maison Cailler, La Maison du Gruyère and Gorges de la Jognes. Annie greeted us with a warm welcome and went above and beyond to make sure we are having a comfortable enjoyable stay. She really made us feel we’re her house guests. Situated in Vevey, 5.6 km from Train station Montreux, Grand Hotel du Lac - Relais & Châteaux features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a garden and a shared... The staff were so friendly. The hotel was decorated very well, and the rooms were cosy. There was a bag of delicious chocolate in the room waiting for us. The location is fantastic, we didn't have a room with a lake view, but the views from just outside the hotel are stunning.

Welcome from the hosts. The authentic nature of the castle. The garden. Room and bathroom very clean. The quality of the bed: mattress and pillows super comfortable. And last but not least, the breakfast (included in the cost of the room) was just amazing!

Set 2.3 km from Train station Montreux, Château du Châtelard offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. First of all we really liked the welcome that the host gave us, the view was amazing especially from the balcony that was outside the house and the house was really comfortable and very pretty too, there was everything we needed.

The Château d'Ouchy is a renovated medieval castle with an original donjon (keep) in a scenic location in Lausanne, directly on the shores of Lake Geneva. We got the attic room which is excellent. Love the view.

Château de Bossey, a conference and formation centre, is set in a renovated historic building from the 18th century with a medieval tower and a large garden, providing views of Lake Geneva and the... Château de Bossey was a lucky find to accommodate my meeting marathon while bike touring. A conference center (great WiFi), a fairly basic but perfectly sufficient hostel and an ecumenical institute. The building belongs to the World Council of Churches. Even has a little chapel. The variety of guests made for an interesting group dinner: Language students, pilgrims, cyclists, a female group of theologians. There is a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner - usually fish, meat and veg. The sunbathed 18th-century gem is perched above Lake Geneva, atop a steep hill in the middle of the alpage. The views are spectacular. As much as I could see myself settling down here I continued my bike tour after two night. Should have stayed longer. Depending on time of year bring mosquito repellant or a plug. I can’t wait to come back to this soulful place and explore the entire region above the lake. Thank you for the hospitality! :)
