The converted church was just sensational. The house provides everything you could possibly need. We loved the fancy antique dishes and serving ware that goes so well with the house. Next time I’d bring something to cook so we could dine on the massive dining table and also bake an apple pie using the apples from the laden apple trees on the property.
A stroll down to Old Kempton Distillery for whisky and gin tastings and lunch was awesome too.

There is a private entrance at the country house for the convenience of those who stay. The country house features family rooms. Clean and beautifully comfy. Peaceful location and amazing views. Loved the homestead to visit. Breakfast supplies were delicious.

Quiet and peaceful, well appointed
It was quiet and peaceful.
Very cute and cosy, perfect size for us as 2 couples. Would also suit a small family. Had everything you needed and the view was beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful.
Quiet, peaceful, fantastic views over the countryside and friendly natives at the door for a free feed. Found it a great place for a fortnight to use as a base to explore southern Tasmaniia.
Absolutely gorgeous little unit, very cosy and comfortable. Had everything we needed and included a lovely wood fire. Very clear and helpful instructions from the owner and very friendly/approachable. Quiet and peaceful location. We stayed and drove to Cradle mountain for hiking, was close enough for day hikes.
Location amazing real wilderness around you with magnificent views of the mountain, dinner at the restaurant was delicious, spa was a luxury, peaceful and so quiet 💚

Wow, this accom was a taste of luxury. Such beautiful rooms. Loved everything. So nice to stay here, really uplifting. The bath was so pretty and room for two. Bed and pillows comfy. Oodles of food included and left in fridge. Fantastic views. The first night was really windy so everything rattled as the wind howled, wild and thrilling. The second night was peaceful and calm, really quiet. Slept well both nights. Honestly, the only place I'd stay in Stanley.
The cottage has some interesting design features: the skylight above the bed and the engraved window between the bedroom and the lounge. it was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The freshly baked bread for breakfast was delicious. it was also very quiet and peaceful being located in the countryside but still accessible to what we needed.
The location was very quiet and peaceful, with lots of wildlife to observe. There was everything you required while on holidays, even an iron. Having a fire was great as the weather was cool. We enjoyed the surroundings of the cottage with lots of trees and views. Nice spot for bird watching. Should've brought the binoculars.
