The staff were super friendly and very helpful. We were made to feel so welcome by all of the Holden Manz family. They have delicious wines and we thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting experience. Would totally recommend staying here.

The old Dutch manor is delightful, with a wonderful view of the Franschhoek valley. The rooms are ridiculously large, and we spent a wonderful Christmas here, also thanks to the staff, who we so attentive. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Lovely peaceful location and spread out in large well kept gardens We had a mountain view which was on the side of the building next to the car park with our own table and chairs in a pretty garden opposite as opposed to our own stoop. It was a large room with bath and shower and was fine for us.. The garden rooms have their own stoop and are a little more expensive. There were plenty chairs around the garden for shade and sun. It is very well run by Lisa and Kenny. Breakfast was the usual South African high standard.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
We had a fantastic stay at Santika Villa Guesthouse in Stellenbosch. The Sunhill Cottage is comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the views of the mountains were stunning. Vanessa was friendly and helpful, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub—a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. Highly recommended for a peaceful and luxurious getaway!
We stayed at The Farmhouse for 2 days and it was absolutely perfect. Great location close to town but also quiet and peaceful and a beautiful rural area.
. We had a big family function and were quite a crowd but with 5 en-suite bedrooms and a very spacious kitchen and lounge and outside area, we had a terrific time. Lovely fireplace and every amenity you might need. The self catering unit was lovely. Set in beautiful gardens overlooking a big pond. Very peaceful and quiet. Dinner was good. Staff went out of their way to locate keys left behind and contacted us.
The hospitality was excellent. You are greeted daily by smiling faces and cheerful dogs. Mollie is extremely insightful and a great conversationalist. The room and bathroom were cleaned daily. The area is very safe, quiet, and peaceful. I would definitely recommend this place to couples and families.
