Find the country houses that appeal to you the most
Looking for a country house?
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Great location for our Hang En cave tour with Oxalis. Good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Levi recommended the Paradise Cave visit and we were so glad he did. He helped us book a taxi for the visit and also helped us with onward travel by bus and then taxi to Hoi An. Lovely river views from the terrace at breakfast and our bedroom. Peaceful and quiet
Enjoyed free use of the bicycles and paddle boards. Also great to cool off in the small pool. Delicious breakfast choices. Altogether a wonderful place to stay.
Quiet, peaceful place with a beautiful view of the mountains. Very responsive, kind and sweet hostess. Very cozy territory, which is insanely beautifully illuminated in the evening
Great option to stay in Phong Nha, as most options in town are hostels. Great view of the lake, great food and drinks as well. The hotel also has a spa, which was super convenient especially after 2 long days of trekking. You need to take a taxi to go to town, but the town is quite small and not much going on, so it was nice to stay in this much more quiet area. You can kayak and swim in the lake, which we didn't do as we were too tired, but it looked nice.
The room is nice, good shower, comfy bed, the location by the river is great. You are close enough to town but far enough from town that it's quiet and peaceful. The host was very kind and helpful. We rented a motorbike through them and it was great.
Really nice, friendly, family run hotel. Quiet and peaceful. Large airy rooms. Kettle and cups in room. Travel info, tours, and bus tickets booking. Its a good place to stay. Reccomended.
Tam was lovely and welcoming. He recommended a bunch of things we could do in Phong Nha and offered to organise a motorbike rental or access to bicycles for free. He also booked a tour for us.
The location is perfect, mountain view and near the main street but set back so quiet and peaceful.
The room was lovely with much needed aircon, and breakfast was so so good! The banana pancakes are delicious, and the fruit was lovely to have too. The best place we have stayed in Vietnam for sure.
For a backpacker like me, Tu Tu's Phong Nha Dawn Homestay felt like a luxurious resort. My room was spacious and clean, and the property is quiet and beautiful with many places to lounge and relax. They even tidied up my room during the day while I was out exploring the caves, and Tu Tu went above and beyond to ensure my easy and pleasant transit in and out of Phong Nha.
Host Tien could not have been more helpful. He organised everything for us. Transfers, bus tickets and tours. He even drove us to town at 03:30 for an onward connection!
Food was delicious and the guesthouse was quiet and peaceful, overlooking the river.
