Good option to stay in Mai Chau. So nice to have breakfast outside in the morning watching the rice fields! Staff was kind and attentive. We had all our meals in their restaurant and we enjoyed it. Keep in mind that you are in the countryside. Don't expect too much luxury. Expect to wake up with roosters singing and meeting other animals around.
Overall the best place where I stayed in Vietnam. I rented the bungalow for one night and one night a bed in the dorm, which was simple but with a queen size bed. The location is amazing, very quiet, peaceful, with a beautiful view on the rice fields. The place is perfect to meet new people. The pool was great, the breakfast offers different choices, and they had freed bicicles to ride around. The staff is always nice and helpful with the organisation of further trips. I loved it!
We had a very relaxing time at Hill House and in Mai Chau! The Homestay was great. Very kind and helpful hosts. Very clean, nice and modern rooms. Great food. Quiet and peaceful place. The homestay and the rooms are made out of bamboo and wood with creative ideas. We extended our stay.
This was a hidden gem! Centrally located in the near by villages resulting in a quiet and peaceful stay. The family were lovely, most accomodating and fabulous in their generosity. Food was delicious and plentiful!

Peaceful oasis in the countryside. Clean private rooms with balcony and a very pretty view! Free bike rental, it’s so easy and relaxing to just cycle through the rice fields (or go to the neighboring villages), go to little cafés… Dinner is eaten with all guests and the family and was really good.
Most of all, the host is sooo kind and caring! I had a great stay and met some nice people. Definitely recommend!

Perfect location with the most amazing view of the mountains and peaceful countryside. Very laid back, breakfast was great and we loved the communal meals in the evening with the other guests. We also loved waking up to the sound of the hens and the ducks. We used the bikes every day to explore the area. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Proximity to the rice fields. Very quiet and peaceful. Bikes to hire were in good condition and large pool was great to cool down in. The staff were very helpful and the meals were delicious. The bungalow was spacious with A/C.
