Find the country houses that appeal to you the most
Looking for a country house?
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
I recently stayed at Banthai Village and had a great time. The facilities were very good. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. My room was quiet, so I slept well. I highly recommend it for a peaceful stay.
Thapaeplacehotel Twins Hotel, within a 5 min walk of Old City , and Night Bazaar. Tucked away from all the hustle and bustle that is Chiang Mai.So very peaceful and quiet.Excellent staff spotless rooms.
Nook and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good with enough variety and the room was very comfortable with a good shower with plenty of pressure. I also liked the quiet peaceful atmosphere at Gategaa.
The staff were all incredibly warm, friendly and kind. Location was central and convenient, yet quiet and peaceful since it's tucked away a little bit back from the main road. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious and had everything I needed. Lots of hooks and racks in the bathroom, which came in handy. Wifi worked seamlessly too. Room was cleaned every other day, which was fine for me. Great value for money. I will absolutely stay there again!
The room was huge, fresh and clean. We were able to park our car on the property, undercover and safely. The owner was helpful, friendly and happy. We found local restaurants and a 7-Eleven close by. The surrounding area was quiet and we slept peacefully. The air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was large and the shower had good water pressure.
A very peaceful and quiet hotel, very comfortable bed, pleasant breakfast, great location to the old city and other local areas, while still being in a secluded road which avoids the noise and business of the city. The staff were exceptionally friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and was made each day and fresh towels provided. The hotel had a lovely lobby where breakfast was served. Very reasonably priced, highly recommend and will return again.
The food & room service was excellent. The mango sticky rice stalk at the front was such a delights. The staff were very kind & friendly & everything was dealt with immediately. Located in the middle of everything yet very quiet & peaceful. I’ll be back for sure.
Very warm welcome, amazing staff from the reception and support staff, very helpful and we all felt like at home. They told us where to drop off clothes for cleaning, where to go hiking, how to catch a ride. Rooms are huge, swimming pool for kids and us to relax in (they even provide towels next to the pool) and sitting area so we could play cards in the evening. Remote so it is quiet and peaceful. Would recommend it to anyone.
The room and the hotel itself were quiet and peaceful. The shower even had real conditioner (not the awful "conditioning shampoo" most places provide). The place is comfortable and luxurious without feeling ostentatious. Breakfast is top notch and served by a friendly, polite, and helpful staff. My favourite property I stayed at in Thailand.
