The rooms are in houses in the yard of an old farm. Large rooms. The owners also live there. Super nice and helpful family. Very beautiful authentic rural village. A walk here is so much better than a museum. King Charles has two houses in the village. Luckily he wasn't there. I'm afraid that in ten years the village will be flooded with tourists. So go quickly if you don't want to be part of that.

This charming little traditional house is situated right in the middle of a rural community and brings with it a real connection with the surrounding country. We had a two-bedroom house which provided a significant amount of space. The bed was comfortable and the house was clean and the noise was purely those of a farm kind roosters, dogs, and cow bells. Roxana is a remarkable host. Not only did she anticipate our needs and provide excellent suggestions for traditional meals and attractions to see but she also assisted us with a medical situation by arranging an appointment with a local doctor.

Oh where do we start. This is like little heaven. The house is authentic with all the Maramureş history. It’s like travelling back in time. Location is perfect just on the river. Garden is idilic - wild flowers so beautiful. It’s like a beautiful dream which owner created with love and passion. Oasis of calm and beautiful surroundings do well to your soul! Our little girl loved everything - made friends with Bruno the dog. Owner took my husband to restaurant so he could bring us some food as we arrived late and my daughter was tired. Welcome you will not get any hotel. I would give million of stars for this little gem - location, house and people!

I really liked the location, the details and the feeling of peace. The location was clean and welcoming, and the owners very nice.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
The house is very clean and the hosts were incredibly warm and friendly. The house if very quiet and in the middle of nature. A great stay, I can totally recommend
I really liked staying at Aparthotel in Sighet, quiet & safe location close to city centre. I loved the view from the room towards the mountains, the room was clean, everything was spotless. The room had air conditioner, very useful in July when outside was very hot weather. I believe this facility is new in the city, everything looks modern and new build to high standards.
Absolutely nothing to fault at this accommodation! I truly felt like I was in a luxury resort in Thailand, with the dark solid wood furniture and very slick interior. Staff was ever so accommodating and helpful, led by the culturally versed manager, Vigil. Vigil was always responsive to enquiries which was very helpful. The accommodation is on about 20min walk to the city centre. But given the quality of the accommodation, I would hesitate to leave the room in the first place. Oh, and a bonus, they do sell great Romania wines on premise!
The pension is in a quiet, slightly off-centre location but still reachable by foot from the train station. It is run by an old lady who was super nice and helpful. She prepared a nice breakfast for us and gave us a welcome tsuika shot on the house. :) The room was good and clean, with a nice terrace.
A practical place to stay a few days in Sighetu and visit Maramures. The place has on-site parking and a restaurant. The staff speak very little English but they try their best -you have to be patience too. It is a good option for those traveling in Maramures with their car. Frigobar works well. Quiet during the evenings.
Charming landlords actually living there on a small farm, nice equipment, building, quiet place and very peaceful area.
