Lovely, serene place to stay with beautiful gardens and a great pool/tennis court. The owners were friendly and hospitable - we really enjoyed finding out more about the history of the house and area. Their knowledge really helped us to understand a little more about the region and made it easier to know where to find certain places. Thoroughly recommend!

It was just 2 or 300 metres off the camino. The hosts were very friendly and cooked a beautiful evening meal. Breakfast was good too. The swimming pool was outstanding and much appreciated after a long day's walking. The room and bathroom were modern and well equipped. An excellent place to stay.

Sensational place for a quiet family holiday. Well maintained garden with swimming pool. Cottage very functional and well equipped with all the necessary appliances - toaster, coffee maker, kettle, iron, blender. Clean and fragrant bathroom and pool towels. Great base for exploring Porto and the nearby beaches. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. And then there are the wonderful and extremely helpful caretakers of the property😘😘.

Overwhelmingly beautiful boutique hotel in a central but peaceful old-town location. The exterior is unassuming but once you step inside a delight unfolds. Each room has stunning architecture and museum-like furnishings, paintings and decor, but with modern five-star luxurious comfort. We were warmly welcomed and got a run-down of the building's fascinating history. Breakfast was excellent, on an indoor terrace overlooking a delightful walled garden filled with fruit trees. Our hosts could not have been more attentive. Amazing.
The host was great and the quiet location with the sounds of nature were just great. The house is a true country house, fully recovered.

The situation of the house could not be better. On a very quiet road with beautiful view.
For us it was perfect, that we could arrive by train and did not need a car, since the owner offered us bicycles.
The house is right on the coastal bike and hiking path. The next town, Viana do Castelo, to shop and go out for dinner is only 7 km and very nice.
