Nuno is an exceptional host - super kind, extremely warm, and helpful! We absolutely loved him! He knows so much about many things; we learned a lot from him and received really helpful tips. Nuno pays great attention to detail, honoring his heritage in every aspect of his hospitality. Everything is planned meticulously, and even the soaps are handmade and from the region. The place is beautiful, super clean, and extremely comfortable. The house is also very warm due to the cork insulation. The views from the windows are great! Downstairs, there is a fireplace that Nuno keeps on, making it feel even cozier. I loved the fireplace, and because of that, Nuno kept it on in the morning so we could have breakfast while enjoying it! Thank you, Nuno! The breakfast was the best we could have - featuring all the typical and delicious food, traditional cheese, homemade jams, and fresh bread! We wish we had stayed longer, and we are definitely coming back again!

This is a place we will definitely return to! it is ideal for those who are looking for a little silence. You don’t have to go anywhere and spend the whole day there. we were with two children, the rooms have board games, you can go kayaking, or be in the pool all day!

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
Perfect surroundings. Magnificent view from the apartment. Continental breakfast is perfect and very fresh. The Serra da Estrella natural park provides lots of trekking paths. In the Vila apartment you can enjoy a beautiful view while drinking wine in a jacuzzi :D
The trekking during July might be hard due to high temperatures and due to high grass bushes on the path.
This is a great location for people who like a remote little town and want to do some hiking on the mountains. The staff is very nice, helpful, just ask Pedro about the road before you go. Waze and Google maps are not ok in the town. They take you the wrong way. Breakfast is good, so you have a good start of the day.
Advice: check the restaurants schedule and book in advance. We had only one option as the other ones were closed due to different reasons.

beautiful and peaceful place. feels more like a private accommodation. Teresa is taking perfectly care about everything: advises on tours and restaurants, great breakfast and everything else you need.
The small town close by is beautiful as well and offers great food options.
The house is absolutely charming, very well equipped and literally in the middle of nowhere (mountains of Unhais da Serra). The view from the goat room is amazing. Teresa is very thoughtful and even proposed a vegan breakfast (not included in the price). There is a nice hiking tour only a few minutes away from the house. We were very lucky to enjoy a quiet and peaceful sunset and sunrise as we had the house for ourselves the first night but if you have other guests in the house, the atmosphere might be very different and less intimate.
Amazing!!!!! All the house is plus, plus clean ! the decoration is well done, the view is incredible, the atmosphere is so peacefull , and in the kitchen everything is provide to cook , make chic table , and nothing is missing !!
And the most incredible is the host , very sweet and present for all needs …
