The host were very sweet, also the house was very warm and comfortable, perfect for a cold winter night with a group of friends. Besides that they have a room with games like snooker, ping pong and matrecos. The bed rooms were also great and the location lose to the river absolutely lovely. The cheese they served in the morning were also delicious, it’s local. We will for sure return.

The place was very cosy, comfortable and very clean. Staff was very friendly and nice! Food was also good, simple breakfast but more than enough! The fireplace was comfortable to play some games at night that we found at the property! It was a pleasure staying there and our dog loved it as well, as he went on walks with other guests😂 can say that the pool was also a good touch to the place

The room was amazing, like a tiny house for you with everything you need. It's the perfect place to relax, not too far from the city, super doable. The breakfast is perfect, taken in a basket to your house so you can have it whenever you want. The maintenance of the place is great. We super appreciate every tiny detail. The house was big and quite flashy for the holidays which was nice, lights and christmas decorations all over the place. All the kitchen appliances worked spot on, and there were many indeed. there was also a generous amount of kitchenware to cook and eat the meals, plus a single minifridge and cupboard for each room, properly numbered and without possibility of people making mistakes. The grounds sport farm animals and fruit trees plus vegetable gardens; having a very curious child, the hosts (an incredible nice couple) showed all animals to her, plus the young dog was always playing with my kid which was great. We are greeted with the first breakfast which is very very nice and the couple is always ready to fix or attend to your needs when they happen. In the new years we were actually invited to spend a small time with them for some snacks and drinks, which we didnt because our kid was very very tired (happens) and as such we cannot really feedback on that, but they left for us generous slices of the cakes for our breakfast the next morning. A great time.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Perfect surroundings. Magnificent view from the apartment. Continental breakfast is perfect and very fresh. The Serra da Estrella natural park provides lots of trekking paths. In the Vila apartment you can enjoy a beautiful view while drinking wine in a jacuzzi :D
The trekking during July might be hard due to high temperatures and due to high grass bushes on the path.
This is a great location for people who like a remote little town and want to do some hiking on the mountains. The staff is very nice, helpful, just ask Pedro about the road before you go. Waze and Google maps are not ok in the town. They take you the wrong way. Breakfast is good, so you have a good start of the day.
Advice: check the restaurants schedule and book in advance. We had only one option as the other ones were closed due to different reasons.

beautiful and peaceful place. feels more like a private accommodation. Teresa is taking perfectly care about everything: advises on tours and restaurants, great breakfast and everything else you need.
The small town close by is beautiful as well and offers great food options.
The house is absolutely charming, very well equipped and literally in the middle of nowhere (mountains of Unhais da Serra). The view from the goat room is amazing. Teresa is very thoughtful and even proposed a vegan breakfast (not included in the price). There is a nice hiking tour only a few minutes away from the house. We were very lucky to enjoy a quiet and peaceful sunset and sunrise as we had the house for ourselves the first night but if you have other guests in the house, the atmosphere might be very different and less intimate.
Amazing!!!!! All the house is plus, plus clean ! the decoration is well done, the view is incredible, the atmosphere is so peacefull , and in the kitchen everything is provide to cook , make chic table , and nothing is missing !!
And the most incredible is the host , very sweet and present for all needs …
