João’s property was immaculately constructed. We had a beautiful bachelor suite with a full kitchen. We even made dinner on the open fire BBQ a few nights in a row. The infinity pool was a great spot to cool off in the day and relax by at night. During our stay we visited 5 different waterfalls and completed a few different hikes in the national park all within a 30-40min drive in a beautiful landscape. This was a hidden gem and is highly recommended. I only wish we found this place earlier in our travels as we would have extended our stay longer.

This is a beautiful gem of a house in a lovely village. Very comfy all round. We enjoyed our little surprise treats on arrival. Communication was great and we felt very welcome. Great hub for exploring or hiking the area.

Very kind and helpful host. Fresh bread and homemade cake every morning. Big fruit bowl on arrival. Traditional stone house with courtyard to park the car. (Streets to get there are very narrow!). Quiet, relaxing location. Hiking trail reachable by foot not far from the house.
Carla met us at the house where there was a welcome tray of wine and pastries. The house is very near the centre of old Soajo, a lovely stone mountain village with lanes too narrow to allow cars so it was very peaceful.
This is a quaint little house with a spacious and very pleasant outside area for a bbq and for relaxation. The location is amazing for star gazing. I hadn’t been able to see the Milky Way due to light pollution in quite a few years so it was a treat. Very peaceful! Even the traditional church bells weren’t intrusive. Beautiful landscape.

Nicely reconstructed farmer house in beautiful location - little far from civilization. Quiet and peaceful. Having a breakfast sitting under a big tree looking to the garden and valley downstairs is unforgettable. Or lemon tree behind the window from bedroom.
Kitchen is fully quipped.
And welcome honey and nut cake from our host was very delicious
A beautiful large rural house decor in rustic style, set in its own very large garden. On the edge of the village so extremely quiet and peaceful, cow bells were all we heard.
Amelia, our host, was the Best! She delivered plenty of food including fresh bread every morning. Wonderful!
