Beautiful guesthouse with so much history. Miguel is a very caring host and made us feel like friends visiting a friends home. Breakfast was lovely and we loved all the historical pieces and decor. We will definitely be back.

Everything was perfect. The location was stunning. The staff were friendly and really helpful. The breakfast was delicious.
The pool was inviting. The suite was amazing with everything crisp and clean.
We ate lunch on one day with Faro family and the meal was first class.

We were Self Catering but the complimentary eggs from the owners free range chickens were very much appreciated. We were invited to join them for a typical Portuguese meal on two occasions. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The location was beautiful and at night you could hear nothing except the frogs in the pond. If you a looking for solitude to enjoy the sun and a pool then this is the place.

Wonderful host, Sofia, made us feel very welcome. She picked lemon verbena from the garden and made us delicious tea which we enjoyed in front of the cosy woodburner with a very amiable cat.

The countryside location is excellent for those on a walking holiday but also not too far from the sea. A short walk and you are in the town which has a few bars and restaurants to choose from. The host was very friendly and helpful.
Had a lovely if brief stay here. The room was very well equipped with a small kitchen, microwave, hob, fridge and cutlery, plates etc. The overall site was spacious and there was an on-site pool (we didn't use it was it was December). The place is about five minutes walk from the town in a quiet area.

Clean, spacious room with a beautiful bathroom and a big comfortable bed, that we've had a good night sleep in after a long day of hiking on the Via Algarviana. The place had a nice pool, we didn't use though. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was rich and guaranteed a stunning view over Salir. The hosts were kind and did everything they could to help us with a late check-in after it took a long time for us to arrive at Salir that day.

This was an amazing "find" right in the heart of Salir and within walking distance of the cafes and restaurants. The accommodation was super clean and beautiful, the hosts were so friendly and available. I would highly recommend Casa do Torreao, be sure to check out the roof top chill spot, perfect for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and extra blankets were available. The location was slightly set away from the town and very peaceful.
