The whole place is a magical experience. The silence and the sensation of isolation are difficult to match. The host is a really nice and caring person with lots of knowledge about the area. The surroundings are amazing for walking (and biking). Our dog enjoyed the stay as well.

This is a beautiful restored facility, with a great history. Family run and they take pride in their work. Ugo our host is exceptional. The rooms are more than adequate. The Honesty Bar is a great addition, but perhaps the liquor is over priced. There is a clean swimming pool. The breakfast is complete, but perhaps it could start before 09:00. The location is a 30 minute walk from the village.

Incredibile experience! The location has an amazing view, it's impeccably clean, and the pool is wonderful. The breakfast was super tasty with many options (the homemade cakes were the highlight of our stay).

Everything was amazing.
We had a peaceful week in Cerro da Fontinha, being served by Miguel and Ana that made sure that we have everything we need, from a bike parked on our house, to dry wood for our chimney.
Breakfast served in the room at time desirable, room clean service every day, is like to be in a luxury hotel but in the middle of Aletejo.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
The bedroom was spacious, clean and well decorated. The bed was comfortable (especially the pillows) and the fans worked well to keep the room cool. Claudia was absolutely wonderful! Her breakfast was simple but delicious and well presented- exactly what we needed before hiking. We also really enjoyed the terrace as a place to relax in the late afternoon.
This was a lovely place, right in town but very quiet and secluded. The room was fine and the host was lovely. Breakfast was terrific and included warm pasteis de nata!
The owner of the place, Hélder, was available and attentive from the moment of the booking confirmation until the end. He kindly met us at the time of arrival, gave all necessary information, and also left a basket full of fruits to enjoy during our stay. The house is full of stories of his travels; it's almost like a little museum. There is a great atmosphere around, a very quiet spot to enjoy peace, and at the same time, it's close to the beautiful beaches. Everything was lovely, and our pup also enjoyed the green area around.

The little village is really authentic portoguese. Really quiet and a authentic little restaurant where we had great food out of a pot :-) Alice and her husband hafe a really nice house with a perfect pool we did use frequently. She offers a perfect breakfast! Really lovely place to spend a couple of days.
I have travelled around a lot hiking in different places and I have to say that this accommodation is up there with the best. A lovely period house, clean comfortable and quiet. Claudia is such a friendly person. Also the breakfast is tops.
