Nuno was a friendly, knowledgeable host who answered my many questions about the region and even took the time to give me a walking tour of Sabugueiro. The lodging itself was quiet, warm, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had some regional specialties, including a homemade pumpkin jam that was absolutely delicious. Sambuc'asa is in a small town in the mountains, with lots of places to walk, so it's perfect for nature lovers.
Featuring garden views, Villa Silene in Covilhã provides accommodations, a garden, and a tennis court.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and it was obvious they put a lot into our stay. Our rooms were clean, the bed was sooo comfortable, breakfast was delicious (all homemade or locally sourced). We loved our stay.

Fabulous quiet rural setting with such a calm feel and perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and the tour of the farm next day, accompanied by the five friendly Farm dogs, rounded off the stay perfectly!
Offering garden views, Casa do Estended'Oiro in Seia provides accommodations, pool with a view, a garden, a terrace, barbecue facilities, and a shared lounge.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
The property is located in a very quiet and peaceful sight with a breathtaking view. The best part was the staff, two sweet locals who treated us like family. The breakfast was super fresh and made to our taste.
Excellent breakfast, lovely homemade baked goods. Wonderfully restored manor house, quiet and peaceful - and the garden is a real haven. Lady of the house welcomed us warmly and gave good overview of the house and surroundings as well as suggestions for restaurants and points of interest. Hiking maps available.
Caring owner Amelia, good breakfast, views from windows and a balcony, cozy living room with billiard
Touristic info in a brochure in a room, containing hiking routes descriptions
The trails start nearby the house (+-10mins by foot)
Despite the house is very old, it is quiet in the rooms
For coffee lovers: there is only instant coffee, but they have boilers in rooms and in the dining room ;)
Our stay in Casa Mariolas was perfect. Daniela is super-host, she cared for our comfortable stay and recommended us great trekkings (astonishing mountains!). Breakfast was regional. In the room we had big, comfortable bed. Very nice common space inside and outside and interesting gallery. Perfectly located near hiking trails but in the town, near the shop and restaurants.
The hotel has a good location, it is quiet, while you can easily walk to the center. A nice hiking trail starts directly at the hotel. The rooms were simple but clean. Value for money was very good.
A very peaceful location with an incredible view of Manteigas. Very comfortable room. Friendly staff. Hiking trails from the hotel. Offered a tour of nearby Ecolã factory, producing traditional burel fabric.
It's a very peaceful place, very quiet. The decoration is very simple and lovely. The receptionist Sara is adorable, very helpful and professional, made us feel at home right away.
The view is awesome. It was all perfect.
