The property is a nicely restored old farmhouse on a piece of land in the country used to graze horses, donkeys and a goat. The house was great, really roomy with great beds and totally quiet at night. The dog on the property is huge and friendly, The land is in a beautiful settling, although a little barren.

Isabel’s guesthouse is truly exceptional. When we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome from Isabel (the host). You can feel and see her radiant good energy in all corners of the house. Not only this house is charming, it is also filled with charming gems and peaceful corners. My favorite was sitting in the terrace, watching the neighbors’s horse and sheep, listening to the sound of animals around or looking at the stars at night. If you’re planning to visit Evora or surroundings or are just looking for a calm stay in nature, this is the place to be. Obrigada Isabel and hope to see you soon!

It was a great little haven out of the torrential rain, and when they opened their wee bar, just for us, we had a lovely evening drinking wine together. And they made us sandwiches even though we hadn't ordered dinner and their kitchen was closed. A cracking place.
