The most ideal location in covilha, easy access to busses out of town, completely peaceful, housing the best restaurant in town with the cleanest most fresh pool, extremely nice staff and excellent service. Only minor drawback was that breakfast didn't start until 8.30 and we get up at 6.30 and there was no coffee in the room 😬 Everything else was just perfection
We were staying with family and a small dog. It was the best hotel we came across on our trip. Great pool, spacious rooms. Quiet day and night, we slept like babies. Super friendly staff.
The view from the kitchen and the table in the yard are perfect. The supermarket is nearby. Quiet & calm neighbourhood. Only the roosters crow in the morning, but that didn't bother us. We found the booklet with travel info very useful & spent a wonderful bath time at Cortes do Meio (25 minutes ride from the house).

The hotel is on a slope of Serra da Estrela, close to the peak, the views are incredible. There are multiple restaurants around so no need to go down to the city. The room was very spacious and comfortable, very quiet too. Breakfast was good, there were many options to choose from.
