Casa da Mina is just great. We had a wedding nearby and needed a place to stay for the weekend, where we could easily bring our 2 months son as well as a pool near the bedrooms to enjoy the sun. Casa da Mina turned out to be excellent with all the comfort and charm. José is a top host who worked in hotel management many years and is responsible for turning Casa da Mina a top place to stay. We leave wishing to come back with all our kids.

The Mondego river passes right through the Quinta do Moinho. There is even a little boat available that you can row on the part of the river that passes through the quinta! Very enjoyable. The host Silvia is friendly and kind, and she went out of her way to help us on several occasions. The breakfast is abundant and genuine. The apartment felt like a little chalet in the middle of the Portuguese countryside, it even has its own porch. Would love to go again.
