This accomodation was amazing. Very beautiful garden, pool and rooms. Breakfast was very good (one of the best we had in Sri Lanka) and all the stuff was super lovely. We stayed with small kids and they all loved it. It is very quiet there and peacefull. It is about 15 minutes by tuk tuk to Galle or to the beach, so the location was also convenient. We enjoyed our stay there very much. We choose it as a last relaxing place at the end of our Sri Lanka stay and it definitelly ticked all the boxes.
I had an excellent stay at this guest house. Its proximity to a major highway interchange made travel easy, yet the surrounding greenery provided a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The place was impeccably clean, and the breakfast was both delicious and affordable. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this guest house for its convenience, cleanliness, tasty breakfast, and warm hospitality. I'll definitely return.
Location is slightly removed from Galle Fort area (1.5 km) and in a quiet & peaceful setting, which I really enjoyed. Surrounded by trees and close to the sea, so it’s always windy and pleasant. Big comfortable apartment with all the amenities you will need. Dam’s hospitality will definitely win you over, he always goes the extra mile for his guests. Do add breakfast when booking and request Dam’s signature fruit shake too, if available. The terrace is also beautiful and I enjoyed spending time up there.
A new, spacious, luxurious and very clean hostel that was very comfortable and peaceful. Really lovely staff. Sam, the manager, picked me up from the train station, and also dropped me in town to eat - which was amazing. Thank you Sam and team! You have a very beautiful hostel! :)
Unique stay in authentic, beautifully decorated Sri Lankan home of the owner of the Barefoot boutique shops. Only two rooms so it is like staying in your own private villa in the best location, right in the heart of Galle Fort. Seconds from shops and restaurants, yet very quiet and peaceful. Just a few minutes walk to beach and incredible sunsets. Room was nice, with comfortable beds and good A/C. We stayed one night, which we felt was enough for Galle Fort.
Sensational location and the interior is stunning. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. It felt like I was staying in a luxurious home instead of a hotel. We stayed upstairs in apartment 1 with the shared common lounge and it was lovely and quiet. I particularly loved the bed being turned down and chocolates provided after returning to our “apartment” post dinner.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. The villa and rooms are very clean. The pool area is very relaxing and super clean, which you dont always see in the areas hotels. Breakfast is great and big! A bit outside Galle center but easy and cheap to move around with tuktuk. Location is nice because there is no big streets nearby so its quiet and peaceful.
The villa is absolutely gorgeous, well maintained and feels like you’re in a luxurious house. The team were so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure my partner had a lovely birthday. Breakfast was incredible, you can never go wrong with Sri Lankan breakfast (don’t even bother asking for western their home cooking is gorgeous!)
It was very central but quiet in the night to sleep peacefully. The king suite was so gorgeous I want to recreate the bathroom in my home! We felt so spoilt thank you so much.
