This place is kind of out in the country, but relatively close to towns and restaurants (about 6km, if I recall), so if you are traveling by car, it's a great location with easy parking. The host was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Accommodations were simple, clean and we had everything we needed.
A good location for a relaxing stay in Rivotorto, Il Giardino degli Angeli is a country house surrounded by views of the mountain.

Our hostess graciously met us, giving us a little tour of the amazingly well-kept, family-run property. The gardens!!!! Very much like a romantic home away from home, with little nooks to sit and meditate, beautiful views, and lovely facilities (pool, sauna, spa). We felt really welcomed and pampered.
But the room!!!! Tastefully decorated in a modern Italian style, impeccably clean, and romantically lit. Every detail was overseen, from local wines and wine glasses, to ample space for luggage.
Our hosts gave us information on local restaurants and on how and when to visit the places in Assisi - breakfast was lovely with a tasty selection of homemade goodies. We highly recommend staying here. It is quite the gem and definitely a little piece of heaven.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
Remote enough for peace and quiet, and only a few other guests at a time, so all very private. Equally handy to Foligno, Spello, and Assisi, etc.
Pool area is exceptional; well set-up and maintained. Some big bracelets / spray essential, but no major issues on that front.
Gianni & Alice are wonderful hosts and made sure we were relaxed all throughout our holiday. They had good advice on where to shop, visit, park, etc.
A beautifully appointed spacious apartment with two bedrooms and a kitchen in a quiet pastoral location, exactly what we expected. The owner of the apartment, Gianni, is very friendly and responded instantly to any request/question, as did his lovely lady Alice. We felt at home and this is not a figure of speech. It was also nice to receive a bottle of Italian wine as a compliment. I warmly recommend staying here to all travelers by car.

Excellent and central place in the countryside to visit Umbria. Very nice, friendly and helpfull owners. Sun, shadow, silence, pool, own terrace, well equipped kitchen.
Perfect pool, great garden. Huge appartement. The area is great, near Spello, Montefalco, Assisi, Spoleto and Trevi. It is very quiet. We had very hot weather in the daytime, but during the night it was nice and cool.

Domenico is a wonderful host, he contacted me way ahead of time, asked me what we wanted for breakfast, was of outmost warmth and hospitality. The house is huge and perfect for a family stay: a parking lot, a kitchen, 3 rooms, a huge living room and a nice kitchen, all worth it. The location is great if you want to visit Assisi, Perugia, Spello ecc, but prefer to stay in a countryside. Me and my two kids, we were really comfy and pleased with the whole stay! Thank you.
