The outside grounds were absolutely perfect (early June). Everything was beautiful and peaceful. The view of Assisi on the hill was amazing. The lodging itself was also great. It was quaint, but very comfortable. Really, a perfect place and a perfect stay.

We chose Giotto Country House for our family getaway, which should not be confused with the spa-inclusive Giotto hotel in Assisi. This country house offers apartment-style lodging with wonderful views, making it well-suited for families. Unfortunately, our stay was mixed due to several issues. The rooms were plagued by a significant number of bugs and ants in various sizes, which were present in the showers and sleeping areas. This made it difficult to sleep comfortably as it felt like the insects were always nearby. Additionally, the beds themselves were not very comfortable. We also faced challenges with the hot water supply, which was insufficient for our needs, especially after spending our days exploring. The staff at Giotto Country House were very friendly and did their best to assist us, which we appreciated. However, it's important to communicate your exact arrival time as they are not at the reception throughout the day. While the setting of Giotto Country House is idyllic and great for families, guests should be ready to deal with the inconveniences of rural life, including a persistent presence of insects.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
It is a truly exceptional place in a beautiful countryside, close to Assisi. The owners, Patrizia and her family, are very kind people. After a whole hot day on our feet in Assisi, it was good to cool off in the outdoor swimming pool.
Such a beautiful & peaceful property surrounded by beautiful gardens & most amazing view of Assisi from the gorgeous pool area. It was close enough to bus & train if needed.

The garden is beautiful and very relaxing. When the area around the pool was busy it was easy to find a quiet spot elsewhere in the garden (with some friendly cats!). The location is good as long as you have a car and there is plenty of free parking.
The breakfast was delicious, and it was lovely to be able to eat outside by the pool. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we are visiting the area.
The location is top for visiting the best aereas , the staff is extremely nice and helpful. The place is so beautiful, quite , clean and peaceful that you don't want to leave.We had a great stay and we will definitely go back again. Highly recommend, thank you Silvia e Gianni
Very beautiful place, rooms extra clean, excellent location (only a few minutes away from the center of Assisi in car), very quiet… and more than everything else, very very nice owners!! You won’t be deceived, you can book right away!
We regret only 1 thing: why did not we plan to stay more days in this place? 1 day was too short ;)
