Driving in the grounds were really well kept - the property did not look like anything we expected. The interior is gorgeous. Quiet sitting, reading, spots. Luxurious feel to the spaces using lighting, fantastic artwork and beautiful books. The views out front were wonderful. Living Area was so comfortable and inviting. Kitchenette had everything needed. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was a delightful getaway in itself.
Great accommodation in a quiet environment in Hjalteyri. Good view to the mountains and out to sea.

clean, quiet, so cute couple! We found everything in the bathroom- schampoo etc. They offered oss to take a hot bath in the hot tub outside. big clean kitchen with everything you need and more!
The room was very cozy and so quiet there. Staff where verry personal and the place was very clean! I used there free service like hot tub, there is so few lights there that you can watch the night sky while relaxing.
(It is less than 15mins drive from Akureyri.) (If you smoke, i do, i would stock up on sigaretes.) Its tolerated to go outside and smoke at a designated area.
