Such friendly owners and staff who go above and beyond. Ketut and Adi make you feel like family and as a solo traveller this makes all the difference.
The breakfast was great and had a good option to choose from, the bed was really comfortable and really big for one person! There was a beautiful trekking trail at the end of the street it is down and a secluded temple space which ketut took me to. I love how invested and passionate ketut is about the work she is doing for the earth and community, with the enzymes. I really felt inspired by her and see how committed she is to making a difference in Bali and wider. She is so knowledgeable. I was also poorly when I stayed there and felt very looked after and supported. Ketut also cooked me dinner a couple of evenings which was delicious

Gorgeous location among the rice paddies. The view is stunning. The room is large and clean and the bed was super comfortable. The warung next door has a small but delicious menu. Recommend visiting with a scooter to be able to get around as it is a little out of the way, but the seclusion makes it a haven away from the busy main areas.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
If you're loking for a quiet place in the jungle, this is great. Good room, great hosts. Bike rent can be organised and a motorbike or car is quickly called.
This is a very new guesthouse run by a lovely family! Two private rooms tucked in the corner of their property. Our room was spotless - super clean and tidy from bathroom to bed. The owners put a lot of work into all the furnishings in the room, quality wooden furnitures made by family. Small fish pond to enjoy and sitting area to hang out. Little porch area in front of room to sit and relax. It was very appreciated quiet oasis outside of the very busy Ubud center.
The rooms have been completely refurbished, incredibly comfortable bed, great sized room, lovely modern bathroom. Slept tao well as very quiet and this local family that are so kind and attentive, can't recommend enough.
Totally relaxing place, quiet, with natural night sounds from the forest and view on rice fields. And very nice swimming pool and massage, very friendly staff. Great after visiting busy Ubud & still you can get there by Gojek etc. I recommend that for those who like quiet atmosphere!
My time at Royal Kemala Villa was like a dream. The place was amazing, with beautiful views and so peaceful. It was a nice change from busy Ubud. It was perfect for chilling out and having some quiet time away from the usual tourist crowds.
We had a wonderful stay at The Banana’s Kumbe Villa, surrounded by rice paddies in a peaceful rural location. Our Villa was beautifully furnished, with a large and luxurious bathroom, and a comfortable bed. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, and included eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit and freshly squeezed juices. Highly recommended for excellent value and a more authentic Balinese experience than found in the larger cities.
The best place to stay in Ubud! It is really quiet and peaceful surrounded by beautiful forest. Room was so clean and tidy and bed was so comfy. Breakfast at the balcony with all the view was amazing! We booked just for a night at first but ended up staying for 3nights. Staffs are really kind and friendly as well(Especially Gul! We love you!) Everything was so perfect! I will def come back this place. See you soon guys🫶
perfect place to get away from the city. quiet, peaceful and have a very good view. The food was also very nice. Far from the city of Ubud, but the owner has scooters so you can rent them to go around. Ask the owner to take you to the wood, they have a lot of activities rich in local balinese culture. Would love to come back later for the private room next to the pool!
