The property was exactly what we needed to start our trip. Away from the hustle and total relaxation. The host Cleopatra was very accommodating and attentive. She provided an excellent ambience in a traditional village setting in Kerames. Her recommendations were excellent and the views from the villa were amazing. I will return on a future trip and recommend the place.

Be sure to come by car/motorbike/whatever, i.e. mobile, since the place lies around 10-15 km away from the nearest coast. Otherwise great host, great house, great authentic Greek village, great feeling of the local life, and - last but not least great - the best cherry tomatoes in the world for free (in early August). Kouriton House is a unique place to stay. The house is very charming and is just outside the the village of Margarites. The host, Anastasia, is extremely friendly and informative -- but you need to be patient as English is not her first language. She helped us speak a few words of Greek and gave us some good suggestions for places to see in the area. We had the room on the first floor, which has a sitting room and a separate bedroom. The place is charming. Making our stay better was meeting some friends of Anastasia's, who were staying during our stay and gave us more information on the area.

The location is perfect for everyone who would like to be close to the tourist offerings on the coast without having to be there themselves. It is for peace and quiet seeking guests who appreciate fantastic views, warm hospitality and being able to see how the natives live. In addition, the short drive from the coast gives you the chance to take in fresh mountain air and views of both the sea and the mountains of Crete.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
The views are so incredibly beautiful and the garden area is lovingly tended to making a peaceful and relaxing outside space to enjoy, good for coffee, dining or reading on the loungers. The sun room is also great for relaxing out of the sun. You can walk down to the town through a pretty path which leads to the square which is very cute with a good selection of cafes and restaurants. The host's parents are such warm, kind people who made us feel very welcome without imposing on our stay. Overall it was a magical experience!
The room was clean and spacious with lovely views from the balcony over surrounding countryside. The beds were comfortable and the room well appointed. Breakfast was good value and delicious.

We have stayed here before and the place was as good as we remembered it. A lovely peaceful location but only a few minutes way from Spili. The owner provides a lot of nice little touches like the fresh fruit and other items. It has all the things you would require. The owner checks to see if everything is ok.
I had the same room for my second stay, but this time without a music festival going on all night! Quiet, clean and comfortable, and more than enough space for one or two people. Eleftheria is the friendliest host (with great English) and she serves the best ice cream too. It feels like a little home from home.
Beuatiful house in the middle of Spili village. House is spacy, cosy, nicely decorated. Good kitchen, there is everything you need. Three bedroms with good coolers. Nice front patio with lovely bogainvilleas. Backyard beautiful garden, well kept. Extra bonus, good, fresh swimming pool. Just very near to shops and restaurants. Spili is quiet and peaceful. We relly enjoyed our time in Villa Rena. Higly recommend! Thank you Antonis for all information!
