The host of this booking was an absolute joy. She was an excellent communicator and she went above and beyond for our stay. She brought us fruit and sweets and a full dinner on our arrival. She was great at communicating with me as our travel plans were delayed and she accommodated us beautifully, even with an arrival time of 10 pm. She brought us a traditional Cretan gift upon arrival as well. One of the sweetest hosts I have ever had and I will be staying at her place again. The home was clean and ready for our arrival. The views were incredible, everyone in the town was friendly and welcoming. I truly loved everything about our stay.

It’s a great place to unwind, away from the crowds. I can’t really describe the feeling of having stayed here. The views are stunning. We can see the mountains and the sea and at early evening it’s possible to see also the beautiful Triopetra beach. We have seen here some of the most amazing sunsets. The house in our opinion is perfect for a couple and has most of the needed appliances. There is a small taverna nearby - 2 min walk up the street but it’s also great to cook. We loved our stay here.

Everything! Clean, authentic renovated village home with cooking facilities. I could really imagine bringing my family here on another trip and staying for longer. Manolis welcomed me with open arms and was such a kind hearted man who had jam, fruit, liquor waiting for me. His beautiful wife Antonia who i didnt get to meet gave me dolmades and yemista and they both went above and beyond for my short stay. Loved listening to village life from the terrace whilst eating my dinner.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
The views are so incredibly beautiful and the garden area is lovingly tended to making a peaceful and relaxing outside space to enjoy, good for coffee, dining or reading on the loungers. The sun room is also great for relaxing out of the sun. You can walk down to the town through a pretty path which leads to the square which is very cute with a good selection of cafes and restaurants. The host's parents are such warm, kind people who made us feel very welcome without imposing on our stay. Overall it was a magical experience!
The room was clean and spacious with lovely views from the balcony over surrounding countryside. The beds were comfortable and the room well appointed. Breakfast was good value and delicious.
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. Eleftheria was a warm and kind hostess, full of enthusiasm for Spilion. She gave excellent information & recommendations for local sights to visit & places to eat. She made our stay outstanding.

We have stayed here before and the place was as good as we remembered it. A lovely peaceful location but only a few minutes way from Spili. The owner provides a lot of nice little touches like the fresh fruit and other items. It has all the things you would require. The owner checks to see if everything is ok.
I had the same room for my second stay, but this time without a music festival going on all night! Quiet, clean and comfortable, and more than enough space for one or two people. Eleftheria is the friendliest host (with great English) and she serves the best ice cream too. It feels like a little home from home.
Beuatiful house in the middle of Spili village. House is spacy, cosy, nicely decorated. Good kitchen, there is everything you need. Three bedroms with good coolers. Nice front patio with lovely bogainvilleas. Backyard beautiful garden, well kept. Extra bonus, good, fresh swimming pool. Just very near to shops and restaurants. Spili is quiet and peaceful. We relly enjoyed our time in Villa Rena. Higly recommend! Thank you Antonis for all information!
