Breakfast was delicious, and I really appreciated the free coffee! I went to Kazbegi not for hiking, but for somewhere peaceful to just relax and read, and the hotel was perfect for that. About a 15 minute walk from the centre of town. Oh and the view from the terrace was stunning.
The room itself was comfortable, with a really good shower.
If I return to Kazbegi, this is where I will stay :)
The kitchen was very cool. Lovely decorative pillows. The location was breathtakingly beautiful. The yard was great, complete with a fire pit. The decorations were thought provoking. Great view with beautiful mountains, fields of flowers, cute animals in the surrounding areas. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. The dishes were adorable.
Maya's breakfast is the most delicious thing in the world. She is a really great cook! And a wonderful person. The house itself is situated somewhere in the middle of the village, you can start your hiking right from there, or to stay at the spot listening to the nature and staring at all the green mountains around. Very calm and peaceful. Highly recommended.
Nino and Archil are wonderful hosts. They gave us complimentary buttermilk pancakes upon our arrival, they explained the schedule for the local minibuses to us, and they were available to take any questions which we had. The guesthouse is in a quiet corner of town near a couple of hiking trails and just a few hundred metres from the town's centre, both the breakfast and the dinner which they serve (for an added charge) are superb, and the views from the guesthouse are outstanding.
The apartment cottage is located on a quiet street and has a stunning view of Trinity Church. The host was easy to communicate with. The interior of this unit is new and lovely. The owner has a good eye for design and comfort. It felt luxurious and comfortable. The small kitchen had everything we needed for our few days. The large soaker tub was very comfortable. There is a full separate bathroom with large shower. The views are gorgeous and the location to town was close, but the street is very quiet.
Ideally located in the city (2 minutes from the center for transport, food and leisure), the guest house is quiet, overlooking both the impressive reliefs from the room, and the beautiful perched church from the huge balcony. The bathroom is luxurious. The stay there was perfect.
Also, our hosts were incredible. Discreet but available, a huge thank you to them and their little touches left on the entrance table.
Fantastic hotel - very good central location in Stepantsminda, yet very peaceful and quiet. Very comfortable and spacious room. Well equipped and spotlessly clean bathroom. Our room had large bright windows and also a large balcony - providing stunning views to Mount Kazbeg. Super friendly and helpful staff - who served a fantastic, varied breakfast - with yoghurts, bread, croissants, fruit, eggs, fruit juice, cheeses, etc. - super tasty.
A superb place to stay if you are visiting Stepantsminda.
- Great location - easy 10-minute walk from bus stop/Spar; quiet/peaceful, couldn’t hear any traffic from the highway at all.
- Stunning views. Unobstructed views from the bedroom and main living space of Gregeti Church and Mount Kazbek.
- Good shower pressure and hot water supply.
- Effective insulation and heating, made for a cozy cabin feel.
- Loved the extra touch of bathrobes and slippers.
Very cozy, awesome scandinavian interior and view to the mountains, there is a fireplace and it's very quiet and peaceful place, great restaurant just across the road. A nice place to visit in any season 👍
Very kind and generous people. Large room in quiet and peaceful location, only the sound of sheep picking grass could be heard. I appreciated soap, shampoo and toothpaste in the bathroom. Great and tasty breakfast.
