My husband and I spend our first wedding anniversary at this beautiful traditional English cottage house. Our puppy was with us. The owners were very caring and gave good advice on food choices and places to visit in the area that are dog friendly. Good choices of breakfasts. We had the delicious English breakfast that was prepared fresh by the owner. We usually spend the time in the garden which was amazing during the morning and evening. It was really peaceful and quiet.

located in glorious, peaceful countryside yet only a short distance from Historic Rye,full of character and quirky. Comfortable and cosy an enormous comfy bed. 10 minute walk from local pub serving excellent food. if that wasn’t enough the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, nothing was too much trouble for Kate the owner, who will have a good chat and able to give great information about surrounding area. This was a return visit and it certainly will not be our last.

Super-convenient location near the Coop Foodstore and Fish & Chip shop (which is excellent). Very easy walking distance to the beach, where there is a good path to walk along if you prefer that to shingle. Very comfortable and well-designed interior makes good use of the space available. Bath tub as well as shower. Essentials all provided. Rye is a quaint town to visit nearby. We were not disturbed by the neighbours' dogs at night - all very quiet and peaceful.

Tucked away off main road, very quiet. The owner is very hospitable, chatty and helpful. I liked staying in a round room with good views over the countryside.
