The breakfast was excellent and the bedroom was lovely we were upgraded which was great.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
We loved everything about our stay in the Helicopter! The location was perfect, and it was peaceful and quiet. The bed was really comfy and was roomy - even for my 6ft 2 hubby. The shower was excellent and so was the fabulous cooked breakfast with homemade bread. There was some chairs and firepit outside for romantic evenings, and there was tea and biscuits on arrival - perfect!
We had an amazing stay, so quiet and peaceful with beautiful countryside around.
When we arrived we were greeted by Kate who made us a lovely pot of tea with homemade brownie😀 😀
Room was decorated very nice and was spotless.
Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and the cooked breakfast was very nice.
Nothing was to much trouble and Kate and Terry made us feel very welcome, also advised us of some amazing walks especially from sennon cove to lands end.
Loved the goats, pigs and chickens too and the cat.
10 out of 10 😀
The very nice house is well-situated for a lot of interesting visits. It is in the beautiful countryside and very quiet. Our room was absolutely lovely, cleaned and maintained to a very high standard. Our hosts were very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome.
Peaceful and quiet, with lovely animals ( we loved the goats). Really comfortable beds and a great room - we slept really well. Fantastic breakfasts too.
Lovely rural setting, with the expected sounds of creatures you'd think of on a farm: sheep, chickens, horses. Quiet and peaceful for when we wanted to rest, but also a great hub for visiting sites on the Lizard Penninsula. Also, a small shop on premises for locally sourced food: eggs, dairy items, some meat. Lovely!
Beautiful cottage and lovely helpful hosts. Wonderful and fully equipped kitchen, garden space and quiet. Very peaceful and would recommend 👍
