Lovely, peaceful setting. Quiet with beautiful views across the hills and lake. The room was well presented, clean and spacious. I had a great cooked breakfast. The staff were helpful and friendly.

We absolutely loved our stay with Kim, she was friendly and helpful. We loved all the pets especially Bella the cat. It was peaceful and quiet, a beautiful location. The breakfast was fantastic!

We arrived to freshly baked delicious lemon drizzle cake, which is such a thoughtful touch.
The apartment is well stocked, and Demelza is situated in a beautifully quiet hamlet, with lovely views of the countryside, lots of birdsong to enjoy, and the most amazing sunsets.
Feeding the chickens and ducks and collecting wggs were the highlights for the children!

Perfect location for exploring all over Cornwall. The barn was comfortable and clean with spacious rooms and a lovely garden area. The area was very quiet and peaceful but close to amenities. Thank you to Katy and Steve who were great hosts and very friendly and welcoming. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay 😀.

We visited in March and our room was always warm and cosy, massive rooms with comfy beds and clean soft linen.
Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and cooked to perfection. High quality produce.
It was only a 10 minute drive from Bodmin town centre so it was really easy to find.
Quiet and peaceful location.
Very quiet and comfortable. Luxurious, even. Delicious food in the bistrot and breakfast room. Cozy bar. Extraordinary to wake up in the lap of luxury with underfloor heating in the bathroom, and then consider the lives of the inmates who were banged up here for years on end. My bedroom was constructed from three of the original cells.
