Well equipped, clean apartment ~8mins drive from the old town. Michèle was an amazing and understanding host, marked up a map for where we could get free parking and get groceries/boulangerie etc. Her husband even helped us with our large suitcase up the second floor. She left a folder of various brochures for key attractions in the region which was very helpful besides suggesting food places to try. Also offered us to pick the figs from her big garden! She’s always available to address any questions and allowed us to check out later after getting home at 1am the night before due to unforeseen circumstances

If I could give higher score I would definitely do that! One one of most amazing places I have ever stayed. Starting from location: in the calm village of Perigord. Far from noise and stress. Our chalet was located close to the forest and cornflower meadow. Chalet is a good size and brand new, nicely decorated and has all facilities you need. It has ourdoor facilities to enjoy meals or coffee outside. Pool was good size, clean and calm. With no vis a vis. Owner is very kind and helpful. I highly recommend and would definitely come back. Thank you Wilfried for being great host.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Good location for visiting the many prehistoric sites in the area, only 10 minutes drive to Lascaux. Nice outside space and pool, which would be nice in warmer weather. Hosts were very responsive to any questions or issues. The location is very quiet. Includes a well equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay again.
An exceptional stay in every way. Friendly, welcoming, super helpful hosts, gorgeous location and buildings, uniquely quiet and serene location, but close to all local attractions/activities. Superb breakfast (my teenagers were in cake heaven!) Probably the best stay we had on our entire Europe tour.
