A lovely [and very quiet] place, in the heart of a historical village.
Owners were always very thoughtful and concerned about my wellbeing and always available to share information on local touristic features, places to eat and local touristic features.
Because I was there in a work assignment, I couldn't enjoy all the touristic attractions and learn about local cuisine - one more reason to return one day, with family, and check all these wonderful locations.
Nevertheless, a big thanks to the owners for their concern with my stay! Hope I can come back some day and catch up with all the local attractions I may have missed this time. Cheers! P

Simple but amazing breakfast with a good selection of jamon (pork), cheese, homemade cakes and jams. The pool was great for the hot weather. The staff is very kind and very discreet: we hardly saw them. A good recommendation for places to see nearby and restaurants to eat. The town is 3 minutes away by car.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Idyllic peaceful setting with wonderful views. Hotel is lovely and the staff are very helpful. Pool area is perfect for long, lazy days. We booked half board and dinner each evening offered a good selection of dishes.
We have been 2 or 3 times before and we are never disappointed. The staff are always exceptionally helpful. The dinner and breakfast were superb. It is a very peaceful place and especially so on this visit as we had the hotel all to ourselves.
El Cabezo is a beautiful place set in beautiful and spectacular countryside. Nothing is too much trouble for hosts Miguel and Maria who are delightful.
This was our second visit to El Cabezo and we intend visiting again as soon as possible.
A unique place!
We booked a Junior Suite which was lovely. We were in the lovely countryside and by car had easy access to the towns and cities we wanted to visit. We were on half board and the dinner was similar to a la carte and was exceptional.
