Tucked high in the mountains this large house was very well maintained. Our room was very large, comfortable and clean. Since many local restaurants were not open in the evening they had food available for purchase and a kitchen everyone could use. There was both indoor and outdoor seating. The breakfast in the morning was local meats, cheese, breads and fruits and the coffee was delicious. The family that runs/owns the house is very nice (I got to practice my Spanish with the parents).

We had a lovely stay with a very kind hostess who went out of her way to make us comfortable eg buying a fan because it was unseasonably hot and making our meals more veggie heavy upon request. Some might find the rooms on the smaller side but we were comfortable and enjoyed what felt like an authentic experience in a peaceful setting.
Cal Reus is located in Ger, La Cerdanya, surrounded by the Catalan Pyrenees. The French border is a 10-minute drive away, and the La Masella ski resort is a 25-minute drive away.

The place was very clean and tidy. The owners very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room also had a kitchen which we were offered to use (and did) which was excellent. The owner gave us recommendations where to go and what to visit.
All in all excellent experience, would go back and will recommend place to family and friends.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
The best holiday house we have ever stayed. The hosts Sandra and Albert are super friendly and helpful. They let us checked out later to suit our train schedule. They volunteered to drive us to the train station go to Paris, which is bit far from the city so we don’t need wait there for long time. The flat is very clear and modern and it is near the central square so we have many choices of nice restaurants. The flat is on a very quiet street. Beds are very comfortable! We will definitely go back there again in the future.

Stunning hotel in beautiful grounds, tucked away down a quiet lane, surrounded by countryside and mountains. The young man at reception took our bags from the car to our room and couldn’t have been more helpful. We were travelling with our cocker spaniel who was also given a wonderful welcome with her own bed and dog bowls in our gorgeous room. And what a fabulous breakfast with so much choice. Highly recommend.
Quiet location in the old town, not too far from the Spanish railway station although a bit of a trek from the Yellow Train French station. Mini kitchen where you could make warm drinks.
The staff was amazing, Xavi was very friendly, informative and attentive, he provided good tips and suggestions about things to do in the area and in the hotel. I love the nature surrounding the hotel, the authenticity of the house and the common areas. So peaceful and quiet and and the same time cozy and friendly.
