Excellent expérience for those looking for a calm stay in a rural area/small village Plenty of hot water (kitchen/bathroom). Old stone house newly renovated. More electric outlets than most modern hotels. Parking is nearby in a public street. The place has other buildings and some of them seems abandoned or not in use. 25 min by car from Termas de Canedo or Muino da Veiga. Small kitchen but sufficient to prepare breakfast and meals. Essential to contact the host before arriving to receive instructions regarding.the self check-in.

A little bit out of the way, but totally worth the drive. We felt like we were staying at an old friends house, the greeting was so warm and welcoming. And even though we speak no Spanish and they speak little English, we had a delightful time chatting for quite a while!

Our host was fantastic at communicating, both before we arrived and during our stay. She went out of her way to explain where the nearest and best restaurants were (we do not speak Spanish, so she did a brilliant job!). The accommodation was rural so the scenery was beautiful. Breakfast included everything is should and more..the highlight being rich, dark honey for our bread and yoghurt!

This lovely inn is located in an untouched medieval village in the hills — absolutely magical! Host Ramiro Pavin has maintained the historical aspects of the property while providing a luxurious, modern experience (the bathroom fixtures and instant hot water were wonderful.) We had no idea when we booked the room in order to visit the nearby hot springs that we would be transported back in time — a short walk around the village took us around ancient vineyards, a 12th century church, and across a stone bridge that looked like it was built by hobbits. Dinner and breakfast cooked and served by Ramiro were among the finest meals of our trip. Just don’t try to drive a car up the tiny streets - we got a little stuck!

The bedrooms were dark & quiet at night. Great central location. Pilar was very nice and contacted me to check if we needed anything.

Fantastic location right in the heart of the historic center. So many great restaurants, cafes and shops located within steps of the apartment. The apartment is extremely quiet and peaceful, the furnishings were new and clean and very comfortable. It was well stocked with everything one would need. The host, Nica, was very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back for another visit, soon.
