Lovely historic rustic house with a cute romantic courtyard garden. Beautiful. It has a wood burner (as well as plug in heaters), which was welcome on the colder evenings. A fabulous little get away which I'm sure comes into it's own even more in the hotter months. The host, Luis, went above and beyond in terms of being welcoming and helping out, in addition to pointing out the nice places to go. A very lovely person. Excellent base for hiking with some beautiful walks. Leaflets are in the house. I hope I can come back and stay again!

The location is amazing. It’s in the perfect spot to walk into Malaga but also quiet enough to have a peaceful nights sleep. The host was so friendly and attentive and we really felt at home during our stay.
The hotel is beautiful, sitting at breakfast was a highlight it was peaceful and such a gorgeous setting. The staff were lovely and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. It was also really quiet and we both slept really well, my friend usually wakes in the night but not here.
Maria Magdelena is such a calm, peaceful space - exhuding the charm of Malaga, whilst feeling cozy and homely. Light and airy - with a lovely inner courtyard with plants and tables in a relaxed atmosphere. Simple but has all you need. The staff are all super friendly and helpful - I wanted to return for a second stay and was accommodated at very late notice! SO grateful 🙏🏼 ☺️Very easy and quick access to the old town - but far enough out to be quiet. Perfect - I hope to return one day!
Stunningly decorated apartment, so luxurious, every touch accounted for - proper hairdryers, Nepresso coffee, beautiful bed linen - a real treat to stay here. Location is so central and safe, yet so quiet. Staff were very obliging for anything we needed. Would love to stay here again in the future.
Location close to Alameda railway terminus (15 minutes direct from airport). Quiet, peaceful area yet very close to city centre (10 minutes walk). Clean, efficient well-run hotel, functional rather than luxurious. Friendly staff and exceptional value for money. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service. We booked a normal double room but were given a free upgrade to a luxury suite. Our check in time was 3 pm - we arrived at 12 and the room was already available. The hotel is smart and the bed was super comfortable. The air con is quiet and efficient. The location is great - only a few minutes walk from the centre, but far enough to be peaceful at night. And there's a roof top bar with friendly bar staff who make great sangria and mojitos!
