We stayed at Alojamiento La Escalera during our bicycle trip, and it was a fantastic experience. After a long day of riding, arriving at the hotel was such a pleasure. The warm welcome we received was truly special—the Argentinian host was incredibly kind and even helped us securely park our bikes in the cellar, giving us peace of mind. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The shower was absolutely amazing, and the homemade breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommend this lovely place for a restful and enjoyable stay!

Car needed but only short drive to both Frigliana and Nerja for food and shopping. Worth being a bit farer out for how quiet and relaxing it is.

It is very close to Nerja ( about a 15-minute drive) and is perfectly situated to explore the area.
If you like hiking, there are several trails along the riverbed and on the mountain to explore.
Loved the outside space, the private pool and how peaceful and quiet it was. Had everything we needed for a self catering holiday and the host Encarni was easy to communicate with.
The villa and grounds are incredibly spacious and immaculately kept. There were 7 adults in our party and so much room and various seating areas. The views from the pool are just spectacular- 180 degrees view of the mountains. It’s very quiet and peaceful. It’s close to Frigliana and about 5 min drive from Nerja. A car is essential.
Everything about the house is excellent. Location is perfect, peaceful and quiet yet only minutes from the main plaza with restaurants and bars. The views from the house and all around the village are stunning. It is exceptionally clean, comfortable and cozy with lots of small additions that can make a difference such as herbs, spices, oil in the kitchen, shower gel, shampoo in bathroom, books and a great TV with worldwide channels in the living room.

Cute little house in quiet rural(ish) position with, from the roof terrace, nice views of Frigiliana and the countryside. The property is managed at a distance by Holidu efficiently and effectively. The kitchen is well-equipped with all white goods working well - everything seems fairly new. Beds are firm and, for us, comfortable. Good shower. Tastefully decorated and furnished.
