Hotel is in a quite place in the centre of the island. It's pretty much the same distance to wherever you'd like to go. David welcomed us and made us feel right at home. It was very quite at nights which was a plus for us. It's nice and relaxing place with some authentic character to it. Definitely would prefer this place against any other touristy towns. There's also a decent grocery store only 3 minute drive away. We used the kitchen to prepare some sandwiches and had our dinner on the patio furniture allocated for our room right next to our door each night. Just to wind down after a day. The cats who are also the residents at the place were also a big plus!

Where do I begin…it was rustic, comfortable, traditional antique Spanish furniture. Had all the necessary equipment. Microwave. Hob. Cutlery. Pots & pans etc. clean bathroom. There was a fan provided in the bedroom. Outside the property there are the owner’s donkeys. So cute. We fed them most days. I could go on & on about how quiet, peaceful & serene the place is. Just magical. Oh the surrounding views are breathtaking. Photo I’ve added regarding bathroom is clearly bedroom but it had to be added to show how lovely our bedroom was.

The lady in charge did her best to make us comfortable. She had not one word of English but she was so kind to us. Our room was fabulous it was clean and comfortable. There is nothing around no bars or restaurants but for one night it was fine.

High attention to details in furnishing and deco. The large private terrace with sunbeds and table (1st floor flat) is great for dining and basking in the sun. The host Doramas is lovely and easy to communicate with. Very clean throughout. Easily situated to reach the north and the south of the island, providing you have a car.

The couple who run the place are lovely. They gave complete privacy but were always available if wanted. The location, for me, was superb, awesome mountainous scenery. You do need a car because shops, restaurants, activities, etc are not within walking distance. There are lots of friendly cats and dogs about the place, again, for me, a bonus. Shorts and t shirt weather for the last 2 weeks in February and the first 2 weeks of March. Windy, unusually so while I was there. Flies but no mosquitoes. The front door and bedroom window is screened to keep out insects.
The fotos are the view of the hill from the front door, the view through the front windows and the view of the property from the top of the hill looking down.

The location of the property is 5-10 min walk into the centre of Caleta. The property is in a quiet location and has everything you would need for a small family holiday. The communication with the host was excellent and they went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable, the property has been refurbished to a very high standard and we would have no hesitation in booking again.
The host was very friendly and recommend us great places to see.

We loved the atmosphere, the garden, the availability of a fully equipped kitchen for the meals (and not having to wash the dishes!), the privacy and the quiet. Bedrooms are simple but very clean, with comfortable beds and large storage. Common spaces are so cozy, we loved the library. Some of the bedrooms are inside the "main" house, some are in the old stall, facing a lovely patio.
A gorgeous staying in an extremely quiet place. The garden and the pool were a perfect solution for a family with two tiny kids.
Although in Antigua shadow is uncommon, the house was pleasantly fresh both day and night, thanks to its ancient structure and to a lovely breeze.
The host was extremely helpful and kind, and also allowed us a delayed check-out.
Very, very recommended. As the compound has a three sibling houses, it would be a perfect solution also for holidays with friends.
