This simple pension turned out to be one of the most comfortable accommodations of our three-week trip. We slept sooo well, the beds were very comfortable and the small town so peaceful and quiet. The shared kitchen/living space was spacious, well equipped and practical. The owner and her husband also found a taxi big enough for the six of us and made sure the driver understood which route to take so we could to be dropped off on the Camino on his way to deliver our luggage.
There is very little commerce in this small town so you’ll want to take advantage of the owner’s small food store below the accommodation-check the hours before your arrival. She has the basics covered if you want to eat in. For a splurge dinner, reserve a table at the Roman restaurant around the corner. For breakfast, the bar across the way is quite popular and serves a traditional Spanish breakfast.

Out of the hustle of the city this guest house provided peace and calm. We ate all meals in the beautiful garden. We were just passing through the area but would happily have spent more time. Pepe the owner and his wife were delightful.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
Lovely large modern room. Shared kitchen dining area which was like home. Washing machine and lines to hang washing on. The view from our room of the fabulous old church and countryside beyond. The lovely village for our evening stroll. In short - everything!
