Quiet and quaint hotel at the foothills of Zhangjiajie national park. Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful and accommodating. The location near to the West gate of the national park makes it easy to avoid the crowds who normally enters from the East gate. It was a very pleasant stay.

The room was large and quiet. The wifi worked well and logging into it was a breeze. The beds and air con made the stay pleasant. Also, the location was close to the cable car to Tianmen mountain and many restaurants.

The hotel was very near to the entry point for Tianmen Mountain, which was a great plus. They kindly arranged passes for the mountain and also Zhangjiajie National Park, which were both awesome. The room was modest but comfortable and fairly quiet overnight; there are also lots of choices when it comes to local restaurants.

Beautiful location, view on the mountains. Room was spacious and well equiped. It is 5 minutes walking distance from the entrance of the park. Food was good and staff really helpful. This village is beautiful and quiet which is nice compare to the vibrant atmosphere of the national park. Definetly recommend this place

The small courtyard is very beautiful, and I love everything here. There are beautiful mountains, warm people, mischievous monkeys, personally picked vegetables, lying on the rocking chair in the courtyard at night watching the stars, with a gentle breeze, frogs chirping, cicadas chirping, and enjoying the natural scenery of the countryside. The elegant lifestyle of Chinese people pursues a leisurely and refined attitude towards life, and I am a souvenir on my travel journey.

It's very quiet surrounding and host Anthony is fantastic.. making sure we are comfortable, knows where to go, things all booked, back safely. We can wash clothes for free and bottled mineral water on the house. It's just 10 mins walk to national park, there's few restaurants and bars down the corner. An hour drive to grand Canyon and 50 mins drive to tianmen mountain.

Awesome place! The hostel lies quietly hidden among tea fields within the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, yet 5 min walking from the nearest bus stop. The hosts are super friendly and give great suggestions on routes to avoid the masses and make the best of your time. They serve extremely delicious local breakfast and dinner. The rooms are not luxurious, but perfectly fine, clean and well equipped. I would definitely visit again!

It is very near to the west gate of Zhangjiajie National Park, 5 minutes walk. This is good for those who want to enter the park as early as possible to avoid the crowds. The area around the west gate is like the quiet countryside whereas the east gate is a bustling place with lots of shops and restaurants. But the property has a restaurant and provided well cooked Chinese dishes. Carol and the rest of the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Carol speaks English so there will be no problem for non Chinese speaking guests.

The staff were so helpful and kind. They gave us lots of advice regarding anything we asked and even helped us book tickets for a later part of our trip. They provided free drop off to the gate of the scenic area in the mornings. The location was quiet and peaceful, close to one of the gates.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - they did everything they could to be of assistance. The location was beautiful and peaceful. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the south east gate which is a quieter gate.
