Rooms were clean, comfortable, and large. It was family-friendly (we brought an infant), and the owners/staff were friendly. Breakfast was tasty English fare. We liked the location also: close to Whitby, feels very private and secluded in the woods, but less than a 15-min walk from the closest pub. Would recommend!

Ideal for a quiet getaway, we stayed on bonfire night for some respite for our frightened dog and didn’t hear a peep. Perfect. The staff that we met were friendly. Already looking to book again.
