A quaint and beautifully decorated cottage with such thoughtful finishing touches and colour schemes. We had a very comfy stay on a rainy night, the place warmed up very quickly with heaters. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped and we enjoyed the fresh eggs. We loved the privacy most, having purchased ingredients to make dinner in the local Co op just up the road, we made dinner and breakfast and liked being somewhere so peaceful. We would definitely stay again, using it as a good stop off point between Blackpool and Sutherland. Would love to know what colour blue the kitchen was painted, inspiration for home? Thank you Neil and Kathryn for being perfect hosts and we will be back in the future.

Boggle Dyke Cottage ligger i Thornhill i en historisk bygning, 4,6 km fra Drumlanrig Slot, og er et feriehus med have og grillfaciliteter. Beautiful little cottage, one of the nicest we have stayed in. Well equipped and very comfortable. The enclosed rear garden was a real bonus for our dog and we even managed to sit in the sunshine one evening. We only stayed for two nights on our way home from Skye but would happily have stayed longer.

The location was great and really close to the town There were a few things we weren’t expecting, like loads of local and tourist info, and a small selection of tea and coffee. There were even a couple of jigsaws and books. The caravan was clean and comfortable.

Hetland Hall Hotel ligger i en 7 hektar stor privat park og serverer lokale råvarer på sin skotske menu. Dette hotel har udsigt over Solway Firth samt udendørs legeplads. The friendly staff, delicious food, cleanliness made the experience exceptional. Definitely need to go back for a longer stay
