A recently renovated holiday home situated in Moffat, Cosy country cottage in rural location features a garden. We’ve stayed here before and it is always exceptionally clean, tidy and homely. Very safe for the dogs and the fire is always ready to be lit which is a lovely touch! Highly recommended.

Located in Dumfries and only 1.6 km from Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club, River View provides accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. The location was brilliant just what we wanted, plenty of space to park and also lovely walks along the river with our dog, 5 mins walk from the town centre.

A quaint and beautifully decorated cottage with such thoughtful finishing touches and colour schemes. We had a very comfy stay on a rainy night, the place warmed up very quickly with heaters. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped and we enjoyed the fresh eggs. We loved the privacy most, having purchased ingredients to make dinner in the local Co op just up the road, we made dinner and breakfast and liked being somewhere so peaceful. We would definitely stay again, using it as a good stop off point between Blackpool and Sutherland. Would love to know what colour blue the kitchen was painted, inspiration for home? Thank you Neil and Kathryn for being perfect hosts and we will be back in the future.

Located in Thornhill, in a historic building, 4.6 km from Drumlanrig Castle, Boggle Dyke Cottage is a holiday home with a garden and barbecue facilities. Stunning little cottage. Log fire in living room was perfect. Plenty gorgeous walks around. Host was lovely. Loads of fishing spots around. Very dog friendly home and area.

Set in Castle Douglas, In House Garden Flat is a historic holiday home that offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden and barbecue facilities. We got our breakfast from the baker and co op across the road. The flat is in a perfect location and surprisingly quiet considering it’s in the town centre.

Set in Newton Stewart, Barnkirk Holidays offers accommodation with seating area. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the holiday home free of charge. The holiday home has family... The location was great and really close to the town There were a few things we weren’t expecting, like loads of local and tourist info, and a small selection of tea and coffee. There were even a couple of jigsaws and books. The caravan was clean and comfortable.

Set in 18 acres of private parkland, Hetland Hall Hotel serves local produce on its Scottish menu. Overlooking the Solway Firth, this hotel also has an outdoor children’s playground. The friendly staff, delicious food, cleanliness made the experience exceptional. Definitely need to go back for a longer stay
