We absolutely loved it here. The view from the hut is stunning, At arrival a lot of little attentions welcomed us and our dog. Dog towels, treats, a toy, a chew, bowels. Everything was there. Very dog friendly. The owner came to check on us every now and then and was very friendly and attentive. There´s lots to do in the area. So we´ll come back for sure, one week´s too short!! The kitchen had all the utilities we needed. The decor was very cosy, and the location was quiet. It was nice that the tv had BBC iPlayer and Netflix, so we were able to relax and watch Paris olympics in evenings after all-day hikes. We hope to come back again.

Cottage Retreat near Peak District and Chatsworth House is situated in Tansley near Matlock. Chatsworth House and The Peak District National Park are close to the house. Perfectly located for seeing around the area. The property had everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay again.
