We stayed in Poppy's Place, which had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay and included eggs, milk, orange juice, and yummy pancakes! The hot tub was excellent. Anne is a very special host - very welcoming and friendly, and more than happy to help with anything.
Falkirk
Weedingshall Lodges is located in Falkirk, 22 km from Hopetoun House, 32 km from Edinburgh Zoo, as well as 38 km from Murrayfield Stadium. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Peaceful setting in the middle of town. Deck was great, kitchenette excellent. Hosts amazing!

The chalet is very well equipped with appliances and utensils. There are also two decking areas with seats and tables outside which are set in wonderful and very well maintained grounds within a large grassed area which was great for our dog. In our opinion this is a great place to stay and we hope to return soon. If you have read any not so good reviews about this property; from personal experience of staying here I would ignore them we found everything about the stay here to be a very high standard. Offering a garden and quiet street view, Alma Villa is set in Falkirk, 36 km from Edinburgh Zoo and 37 km from Glasgow Cathedral. I wouldn’t usually leave reviews however, this was one of the cleanest and homeliest places I have stayed. There was a lovely welcome message which made it a nice personal touch. We visited for Edinburgh Christmas markets, the location to both Edinburgh and Glasgow was made within 30 mins from here and Falkirk itself is lovely. Kerry emailed back straight away with a query that I had and was really polite about the situation. We met Alan on our visit to confirm everything was ok with our stay - both hosts very welcoming. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Great location and such a cosy cabin with a lovely hot tub we spent most nights in. Fantastic option of having a masuse come to the cabin, me and my partner both had full body hot stone massages which were incredible. I highly recommend this option if your staying here.
Charming, characterful terraced cottage with a delightful outlook onto the garden and onto the mountain in the distance. Very large comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Peaceful location with lots of hiking routes nearby.
I would like thank Roni Laura and Bertie for making us feel at home . Our cottage had everything , too electric appliances , excellent mattress and pillows and a fantastic and cosy fireplace . The views from living room, kitchen and the veranda were absolutely astonishing and we specially loved the tranquility of the place . Close to lakes , Callander and many other viallges . We definitely come back. Easily accessible due to proximity to Glasgow airport .

Loved fire and how cosy cabin felt and hot tub
Rosefinch lodge was very clean, comfortable, had everything we needed for a self catering stay (fridge, hob, pots, pans, etc), hot tub was great, all lodges had people in them from what we seen but we heard no noise, car was parked on site over night and only 1 minute walk from car to lodge with bags. Location is good it has a pub/restaurant with a shop next door about 2 minutes walk away from lodges and plenty of good views with the loch and hills all around. Would book again.
Where do i start.. beautiful location, beautiful lodge, comfortable cosy relaxing everything we wanted.the sauna 10/10 the views 100/10 just stunning will 110% be back the walks for the dog was amazing. The bed was comfortable it felt like a home from home.. was actually sad to leave
This is a romantic and picturesque get-away in the Scottish countryside. It's surrounded in natural beauty. The mountains are clearly viewed in the distance, and an amazing addition to the hot tub experience. Sheep roam the grounds behind the hot tub and table-top fireplace. The cottage is cute and well laid-out. It's fitting for a family as well as a romantic couple's get-away. The hosts are very helpful and communicative.
Amazing accommodation, the staff were very friendly and helpful, also super generous, the lodge we stayed in was the woodpecker cabin, it was comfortable,cosy and the hot tub was fantastic!! This cabin also accommodates dogs the space outside is perfect and private. Would 100% stay here again and would highly recommend a stay to anyone looking for great accommodation in the loch lomond area. Balmaha specifically.
