The nearby area has plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby too.

Whitestone Cottage features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Turnberry, 22 km from Ayr Racecourse. My son and I were doing a tour of western Scotland and came across this place as it is very close to Culzean Castle (fantastic). Space was small but had everything we were looking for and more. The proprietor, George, was very friendly and seemed proud of his property. We got there a little late and were hungry so he made reservations for us at a great restaurant (possibly best food we had in Scotland). Would definitely recommend Whitestone for those looking for a base of operation.

Boasting garden views, Sylish House with hot tub features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 22 km from Royal Troon. Loved our time spent here. Place was so nice. Ken was so lovely and helpful. Great value for money. Lovely surrounding for walks.

Wee Shepherds Hut Maybole is set in Maybole, 26 km from Royal Troon, 10 km from Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, as well as 8.6 km from Culzean Castle & Country Park. Stunning views, excellent location, quiet location very well equipped hut. Full range of kitchen utensils, starter kit of washing up liquid, milk etc easy to find. Great shower and well designed hut with huge storage space under the bed for luggage. Surprise was a fridge in the hut Sheep in the field were entertaining.
