The location was ideal to visit Annecy! The bedroom was cozy with a comfortable bed. There is not much extra space but we only stayed for 1 night so it was ok. It was a nice gesture to give 2 free coffee pods and tea bags.
the location was superb. Quiet yet not far from amenities.Close to scenic spots. Breakfast could do with few more hot options. WE were looked after by Elodie a most charming warm person, always ready to help us with suggestions and a ready smile.
Centrally located right in the middle of the tourist area. The hotel was recently enough refurbished so everything feels new and fresh but still retaining its old architectural heritage. I had a room on the 4th floor and was not troubled by any noise whatsoever. Air conditioning was welcome in the peak of summer.
The property was very tastefully decorated and comfortable with truly panoramic views. It was close to the lake and all amenities such as restaurants and shops. We stayed for two weeks and it was very useful to have washing and drying facilities. Charming hosts.
I loved Anna’s apartment. It was so cozy with the small veranda. Would love to stay there nother time and will recommend it to my friends. Very romantic.
A very comfortable and stylish double room with fantastic views. A very spacious single room, similarly appointed. Excellent bathrooms, Rituals toiletries, very comfortable beds. The bar/breakfast room isn't cosy. We didn't opt for breakfast but the staff were charming in the bar/reception. And the wine was both good and good value. The real joy of this hotel is it's amazing location, right in the heart of the town by the canal. Would definitely return.
Charming and personable hotel in a great location at the base of the chateau. We had a family room on the 2nd floor that had excellent double (or triple?) glazed windows so it was calm and we slept very well in comfortable beds. It would probably be too hot in the summer but in the winter it was a perfect and cozy. Nicely renovated bathroom. We did not take the hotel breakfast.
The host was Delightful and easy to work with. The location of the apartment is right in the heart of the old town and very charming. The interior was very modern and well appointed! I loved the unique addition of the sauna.
Anne-Sophie, our host, was amazing. She recommended us good place to visit in the areas. Helped us to book activities and kindly organised for us the sauna or Roman bath. On top of that, she would always follow up with an extra touch to make us truly feel like home. My partner and I wanted her to adopt us but realised that’s not something you can ask to people generally. I really recommend the Hydge lodge, especially if you go as a couple. It is very relaxing and as I described earlier, our host was amazing and kind.
