Offering a garden and mountain view, La Quinta Luxury Palace is situated in Arnuero, 40 km from Santander Port and 42 km from Puerto Chico. Newly opened, family owned hotel with exceptional design. What we liked most was the warm welcome and the lovely hosts that served us well. Gluten free breakfast was also provided. If we could, we would give it 6 stars. 😃 We will definitely come back.

Apartamentos la casa de los ríos, a property with a garden and barbecue facilities, is set in Liérganes, 27 km from Puerto Chico, 28 km from Santander Festival Palace, as well as 30 km from El... The self-contained unit was very cozy and comfortable, with a balcony facing the mountains. The nearby river was like a constant and welcome lullaby at night. Liérganes' city centre is a short walk away (if not wishing to drive there), offers several sites to visit and bushwalk options around town with plenty of restaurants, and supermarkets. By car, there are many interesting destinations within 30 - 60 min drive. I really appreciated the helpful advice from the hosts and the spacious backyard. The landscapes are the best.

Set just 6.6 km from Santo Toribio de Liebana Monastery, Casa Llayo offers accommodation in Aliezo with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a 24-hour front desk. If you enjoy being on a quiet place surrounded by nature, this is your place. It's secluded enough feel in the outdoors but driving distance (10min) to get anywhere. Casa Llayo has everything you need to enjoy a nice stay, be aware that arriving there the first time can be tricky (don't be discouraged by that; is well worth it) but after that it gets easier. Hosts live close by and give you a great welcome to show you the house and point everything that you will need. The house was super clean and has all amenities. This is a great spot to visit many places around Picos de Europa, we did a couple of tours in various directions and Potes is just 8min drive from the house. The hosts shared with us some home made wine (delicious), it has a nice bbq on the patio (charcoal and wood provided) and we used it a couple of times. Enjoying the morning coffee outside was a daily pleasure.
