Set on the Bay of Biscay and surrounded by mountains, the Higueralde guest house is located 15-minutes’ walk from the beach. It offers rooms with central heating and free Wi-Fi. Beautiful views from the large room, comfy bed, easy check in and friendly hosts. And of course this has to be the best breakfast in all of Spain: you’ll be full for two days! This is my second time staying here and I’ll be back, it’s the absolute best place in the area, especially if traveling with a dog. The road is actually quite easy and there are signs for the hotel: be sure to ignore the straight uphill option and instead take the slightly longer route that goes towards the beach but then winds back up the hill. There is ample parking up top behind the hotel. Muchas gracias una vez más!

Casa Rural Ekoigoa is set in the heart of the Basque countryside, by the Urola River. There is free WiFi and free parking and Zumaia Beach is just 7 km away. Charming place, friendly staff and the breakfast was very yummy!

Set 48 km from Fernando Buesa Arena, El Retiro del Obispo offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The hosts, Terri and Robert, were fantastic. We asked for their advice on things to do and they set us up for a great 3 night stay with wineries and meals to die for. The newly renovated space has old world charm with all of the modern conveniences. I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Laguardia.

Second time in Casa Robla - couldn't be better. The location is just 5 minutes from La Guardia, a perfect starting point for exploring Rioja wineries. The interior design of the hotel is gorgeous, and everything was spot-on. Cristina is an amazing host, offering great recommendations for the area and showing super care and thoughtfulness towards our experience. Make sure to hit the cool wine cellar downstairs and sip one of the wines from Cristina's winery - a perfect finish for the day. Will definitely come back 😄

Boasting mountain views, Casa rural Lastoetxe offers accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 21 km from Funicular de Artxanda. Great quiet location and the room was big and convenient next to the kitchen. Would stay again- convenient to get to beaches

Boasting a garden, barbecue facilities and views of mountain, El Tejado de Santa Ana is situated in Barrika, 1.7 km from Barrikako Beach. Everything! It’s a beautiful house in a great spot with breathtaking views. We were pampered with good food and lots of attention.

Beautiful wooden apartments in rural area, in the heart of nature, easy to find, though. Attention to the details and hospitability from the owners. Very good freshly prepared breakfast provided. Overall tranquillity, view of the forest from the windows. Terrace.
